Chick Fil A Family Night
Dr. Fravel & staff enjoy participating in the Family Night festivities at the Ocoee Chick-fil-A. We have had the pleasure of attending this event multiple times. We enjoy interacting with families from our community. Our team spends time speaking with them about dental and orthodontic health. We always enjoy the opportunity to meet families in our community and loved seeing familiar smiling faces while we were there!
Field Trips For Your Future
For over 10 years, our office has partnered with local schools to provide free field trips for local elementary schools in our office. Each year we see approximately 500 students for a hands-on, interactive and educational field trip. For the 2010-2011 school year we hosted Thornebrooke Elementary, Lake Highland Preparatory School, Windermere Preparatory School and Ocoee Elementary.
Tooth Fairy
Dr. Fravel’s office and the Tooth Fairy visited several local schools during February in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month. The Tooth Fairy had the honor of visiting Foundation Academy, Windermere Preparatory School, Central Florida Christian Academy, Radiant Life Academy and Ocoee Elementary.
Each school enjoyed a presentation on brushing, flossing and caring for their teeth from the Tooth Fairy. She shared special tips on how to take care of your teeth through good oral hygiene. The children participated in activities to learn the various parts of a tooth and activities to understand what causes cavities and decay. They also learned which foods are healthy and not-so-healthy for their teeth.
The children enjoyed a special story from the Tooth Fairy and each got to take home a goodie bag from Dr. Fravel and the Tooth Fairy.
