What is your New Year’s Resolution?

This is the most commonly asked question during the holiday season and what do you think is the number one answer? Does eating healthier, getting in shape, or living a healthy lifestyle sound familiar? A New Year is a new beginning and everyone likes to regain their footing and start the New Year on a fresh note.

Leading a healthy lifestyle is not just limited to what you eat and getting 30 minutes of daily exercise. There are many other aspects to your health as a whole and one part is your dental health! Good oral hygiene can aid in preventing bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease! An unhealthy mouth also increases your risk of serious health problems such as heart attack and stroke.  One of the best methods of keeping your mouth healthy is visiting the dentist every 6 months, or twice a year. That way your dentist can keep an eye on everything and make sure your oral health is helping to conquer your New Year’s Resolution!

Now what you put in your mouth to nourish your body is just as important as keeping your mouth healthy. And we have found a new app on Android and iPhone that helps keep healthy cooking fun!
