Smile For A Lifetime was formed by Dr. Benjamin Burris in Arkansas when he recognized the need to change the lives of children by providing a beautiful, healthy smile. What he started later turned into a foundation with chapters around the United States. After hearing about this organization, Dr. Fravel has spent the last year speaking with the Foundation, applying to have his own non-profit chapter and forming the Board of Directors who will oversee his local chapter.
Smile For A Lifetime-West Orange has appointed local community leaders and professionals to the Board of Directors. The board is instrumental in spreading the word about this unique program to local schools and organizations. The board will also receive applications from children in the community who are interested in receiving an orthodontic scholarship.
